Secret Of Effective Internet Marketing

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

When you hear complaints from people who’ve tried going into business online and failed, chances are that it’s not that their efforts were wrong, they just weren’t practicing effective internet marketing.  This is where many of the internet marketing center and programs you can purchase fail the average business person.  They give an introduction to different ways you can promote your business online, but they only go that far and stop.  They don’t give in depth information about how to tweak these techniques to make them work for you, and what to do if they don’t seem to be working.

There’s only one true secret to effective internet marketing: Reevaluate often and change tactics when necessary. Most sources of information you’ll find on internet marketing urge you to try many different models of promotion.  Traditional ads, pay-per-click marketing, search engine optimization, joint ventures and a variety of other very good suggestions for ways to get your product or service out in front of those who would need or want it.  So you’re introduced to all these various ways of marketing.  Then many people think that’s all the information they need, so they jump in with both feet, blow their budget on pay-per-click advertising or some other expensive promotion.  The reasoning is that the profits made from this promotion will replace the funds spent and even increase them for the next advertising campaign.

Unfortunately, it rarely works just this way. Very often a person will put these marketing techniques into effect all at once hoping for a large return, but instead very little happens and now there’s little budget left to try again. While there’s nothing wrong with advertising campaigns that cost, like pay-per-click marketing, this type of promotion isn’t right for every business, despite what the expert might say.  And it’s hardly effective internet marketing to start out with pay-per-click spending.

Where most fail is that they don’t carefully monitor the response of every type of marketing they have in place.  Effective internet marketing isn’t done once and forgotten, left to work behind the scenes to generate huge profit.  It’s an evolving process, one that takes regular adjustment and change to be truly successful.  And you really can begin this process without spending very much money, and sometimes without spending anything at all.

Aim for the lower cost forms of marketing first.  Article marketing, for instance, and filling a blog with fresh keyword optimized content to attract good search engine ranking effective internet marketing and a great start.  Yes, you’ll want to optimize your web content, even if you have pay someone to do it correctly.

But hold off on the expensive pay-per-click campaign until you see which keywords and which articles and blog post are referring you the most customers. Then put your money where your customers are, in essence, by creating a pay-per-click campaign based on results you’ve already seen with other methods.  Effective internet marketing requires you to reevaluate all of this often, because your best keywords can change even from day to day.

Five Bad Words You Don’t Want to Use Selling A Product

Friday, August 14th, 2009

See full size imageDo you know exactly why people don’t seem excited to buy your product? Have you ever wondered why your competitors make more sales even though they have a terrible product to offer? Even worse, why people don’t even bother to give their email address in your opt-in form and subscribe to your free newsletter?

You may wonder why people just don’t feel interested to buy your product or maybe your price is too high. Or you’ve finally realized that your product is a pile of junk and decided to find another product to sell.

You’ve got to stop whatever you’re doing and think for a moment. It is not your product to be blame.

Sometimes your own sales-letter which is the one that kill your business. You’ve written some words that people don’t even want to hear and scare the hell out of them. Studied has shown using these words will decrease your sales up to 75%.

So, what are exactly the bad words you should never say in your newsletter?

1) Buy – This specifically asking people to take out their wallet and spend some money. Bare in mind, most people surf the Internet searching certain information for free and sometimes they need more time before considering buying your product. Whatever business you’re doing, using this word alone can destroy your business in split second. Instead of using the word ‘buy’, change it to ‘claim’ or ‘invest’. Ask yourself, which one sounds better, “Buy this amazing product” or “Claim this amazing product.”

2) Learn – This will remind people back in the old days where they have to study and learn in 1st or 2nd Grade. Nobody wants to squeeze their brain out and learn something new on the Internet. Information on the Internet is just too huge. Nowadays, people want fast information and have no time to learn. Instead of using the word ‘learn’, it is better to use the word ‘discover’. Now we are giving somewhere. Does this word sounds a lot better, “Discover 10 Easy Tips To Improve Your Golf Swing.”

3) Tell – You don’t have to use this word to explain the benefit of your product. People will not listen to you if they don’t recognize you. Study these two words carefully, “Let me tell you the secrets of becoming a millionaire” or “Let me reveal to you the secrets of becoming a millionaire.” Which one do you think that will make people keep on reading your newsletter?

4) Things – Using this word will not make your sales-letter sound astonishing. It makes the sales-letter very boring to read. This will make people lost their confidence in whatever you’ve offered to them. Instead of using the word ‘things’, consider to revise it to ‘tips’, ‘tricks’ or ‘techniques’. “Get these 5 great techniques right away” is far better than “Get these 5 great things right away.”

5) Stuff – This word is what most marketers used to describe how great the product is. If you change it to ‘Insider Secrets’, definitely this will give people an urge to act right away. Consider this two words, “Click here to download your 7 stuffs” or “Click here to download your 7 amazing insider secrets.” Which one would you like to click?

If you can avoid these 5 bad words, your sales will definitely rise. Don’t neglect the power of these words. Now, it’s time for you to check all your sales-letter and change it (if any) right away. You will be surprised of the outcome.

Reverse Internet Marketing

Friday, August 7th, 2009

Just when you think you have seen it all in the internet marketing world. A new concept comes along that shakes up everything and has everyone talking!

This is certainly the case with “Reverse Internet Marketing”. The basic idea is to give products away vs. selling products. Sounds crazy?? Well before you click back the back-arrow on your browser you need to think this through. Yes, I used a dirty word ‘think’. Too often we (myself included) act without thinking. But believe me these guys; Lauryn Herbert and Frank Jones have put their heads together and came up with a “Whole New Concept” in Internet marketing.

The cool thing about their new concept is it “actually works”. Where traditonal “selling of products’ converts at a rate of only 1 – 3%. Thier program converts at a rate of over 60%. Whoa, that doesnt’ tak a mathmatician to calculate the difference!

So how are they doing it, well rather than me try to regurgitate the process, just go and read about it yourself and save my fingers from doing all the spelling it out for you!

I would appreciate your feedback in the ole comment section. (don’t spam me with your links I have to approve them)!

Go here to the website to read all about it!  http://ebook-4-free.com  Yeah, I was pretty skeptical too. But they made a believer out of me!
